Refunds and cancellations
A clear policy for admin services, subscriptions, digital products and bespoke software work.
Service cancellation
Clients may cancel ongoing administrative services by written notice. Charges already incurred for work completed, active subscriptions, setup work, requirements reviews or agreed deliverables may remain payable.
Monthly subscriptions
Debt correspondence administration subscriptions are charged per active debt/account unless agreed otherwise. Subscription changes may take effect from the next billing period unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Digital content
Digital products, templates, guides and downloadable materials may have different cancellation rules once access has been provided. Clearfile should obtain the customer's express consent before supplying digital content within a cancellation period and should confirm whether cancellation rights are affected.
Bespoke software
Requirements reviews, scoping work, custom development, testing, documentation and handover work are bespoke services. Refunds are not normally available for completed bespoke work unless required by law or agreed in writing.
Failed or unsuitable scope
If Clearfile concludes that a requested software build or admin task is unsuitable, outside scope or cannot be delivered safely, Clearfile may decline the work and refund any unused amount as appropriate.
