What the client provides

  • All letters, emails, notices and screenshots connected to the debt.
  • The creditor, debt purchaser or collection-agent name if known.
  • Account/reference numbers where available.
  • Any known timeline, disputes, payments, complaints, affordability issues or vulnerability information the client wants raised.

What Clearfile does

  • Reviews the uploaded correspondence and organises the issue into a written case file.
  • Drafts, formats and sends non-advice administrative correspondence based on the client’s instructions.
  • Uses available lawful written correspondence routes such as evidence requests, account-information requests, data-accuracy correspondence, complaints, vulnerability/financial-difficulty wording and settlement correspondence where instructed.
  • Keeps the correspondence route in writing through clearfile.correspondence@gmail.com.

Consent required before third-party contact

Clearfile cannot contact any creditor, debt purchaser, collection agent, solicitor, complaint team, data-protection team or other third party on the client’s behalf until the signed authority and consent form has been returned.
